HV (high-voltage) contactors are widely used in electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEV). AEM Electronics offers a couple of choices in this area with their Rincon Power high-voltage contactors. One is a low-cost, pre-charge solution that meets RoHS 2011/65/EU and is PCB (printed circuit board) mountable. The other is hermetically sealed with gas fill and has an integrated coil economizer to reduce coil holding power. It meets RoHS 2011/65/EU, is CE certified, and IEC60947-4-1 compliant.
