BD Diesel Xtruded transmission oil coolers use the same high-efficiency micro-extruded bar technology that is in the BD Diesel air-to-air charge coolers, providing 22 percent more cooling over similar designs. Their 200 micro-extruded passages provide a large surface area to transfer heat for external airflow cooling, while their turbulent oil design promotes more complete cooling. They feature large 5/8 in. ports to prevent inlet/outlet restriction and furnace-brazed rails that have been tested to 300 psi of pressure. Their thermostatically controlled 80 watt, 10 in., 800 cfm electric fan offers automatic oil temperature control. The BD Diesel Xtruded transmission oil coolers are available to accommodate 5/16 in., 3/8 in., 1/2 in., or 5/8 in. transmission cooler lines and come complete with all fittings, clamps, hoses, a wiring harness with a relay and fuse, and mounting hardware. BD Diesel's transmission inline filter kits protect your heavy-duty automatic transmission against contamination in its transmission fluid. They eliminate contamination from prior transmission failure or excessive wear, as well as secondary damage to other parts once a part failure has occurred. When you need an emergency engine shutdown system, these BD Diesel positive air shutdown valves are the solution. Some industries, such as mining, oil refinery, forestry, mobile welding, septic removal, and refueling, require some vehicles to have an emergency engine shutdown in place. The most effective method for this is to cut the air supply to the diesel engine, causing fuel ignition to cease. With these BD Diesel positive air shutdown valves, an inline butterfly valve is placed in the air intake line and, when activated by the included heavy-duty electrical solenoid, the engine will shut down within seconds. The butterfly valve design reduces the number of parts and the overall size, as compared to other competitive units. BD Diesel positive air shutdown valves feature aluminum and stainless components, plus weatherproof electrical connectors that are used to prevent corrosion. Installation is simple--by utilizing the innovative bead boot locks, no welding is needed for the hose retaining beads. Valves are available in automatic or manual switching mode; manual switching models do not include electronic overspeed protection modules.
