The APR Suspension Control Unit (SCU) Upgrade directly replaces your factory suspension controller with a new unit that enables advanced control over your vehicle's factory electronic shocks. APR Lowering Bump Stops

APR lowering bump stops improve handling and ride quality—and are designed for use on lowered vehicles, such as those with APR Roll-Control lowering springs. Bump stops are a critical handling and ride-quality component of your suspension system, but they're often completely overlooked. Most setups are either running the factory bump stops, which are too tall (causing constant engagement during normal driving); cut bump stops, which remove the progressive dampening; or they've removed them altogether. All of these scenarios hurt handling and make the ride harsh. APR bump stops are designed using a balance of durometer (hardness) and length to tune comfort and handling under normal and aggressive driving scenarios. The balance takes the following into account: * Length: A longer bump stop, like the factory units, will have more volume to absorb a harsh impact. But during normal driving on a lowered vehicle, they will constantly contact, which impacts both handling and comfort. The quick engagement can disrupt handling and cause driver discomfort. APR shortened the bump stop to ensure that they work on a lowered vehicle, but kept them tall enough so they have enough volume to absorb a hard hit. * Durometer (hardness): An overly soft bump stop is comfortable but can't absorb enough energy to protect from damage. Likewise, an overly stiff bump stop will impact ride quality, and impact handling negatively. Testing various setups, APR found a balance by increasing stiffness to provide better handling without going overly stiff as to impact comfort. The bump stops also have a progressive rate to them with a soft "nose." This allows the bump stop to gently engage so as to not disrupt handling. APR 3.0 TFSI Supercharger Drive Kits

APR 3.0 TFSI supercharger drive and crank pulley upgrade kits have been designed to dramatically increase the rotational speed of the factory supercharger. When combined with APR's Ultra-Charger Throttle Body Upgrade in a dual pulley setup, the system is alleviated of power robbing inlet restrictions, allowing the engine to achieve exciting new levels of performance! The supercharger drive pulley decreases the diameter of the factory pulley from 63.25mm to 57.75mm, which in turn spins the supercharger 9.5 percent faster. This results in a healthy bump in horsepower and torque across the entire rpm range with the supercharger operating at a higher rate of speed. The pulley is CNC-machined from billet stainless steel, E-coated factory black for an OEM appearance and is press fitted to the factory supercharger unit. The supercharger crank pulley increases the diameter of the factory pulley from 162mm to 187mm, which in turn spins the supercharger 15.4 percent faster. This results in a larger bump in horsepower and torque across the entire rpm range, as the supercharger is spinning at an even higher rate of speed. The pulley is CNC-machined from light weight billet aluminum with weight saving pockets throughout and has an anodized black finish and includes new crank pulley bolts. It retains the factory harmonically balanced crank pulley and bolts on top of the existing unit. Upgrading both the supercharger drive and crank pulleys results in the factory supercharger spinning faster than stock, which results in an even higher horsepower and torque gain across the entire rpm range. However, at the airflow levels achieved with a dual pulley setup, maximum power is severely restricted by the factory throttle body unit. APR's Ultra-Charger Throttle Body Upgrade is necessary to take full advantage of the dual pulley configuration and is available in platform specific variations for the B8/B8.5 A4/A4/S4/S5, Q5/SQ5 and C7 A6/A7.

APR Lug Bolts

APR offers a variety of lug bolts in lengths and thread sizes to meet your needs. Unlike stock wheel studs, which only have a limited length, APR's extended lug bolts go together well with wheel spacers. Wheel spacers are designed to physically move the wheel further away from the hub for the desired offset needed to create the stance or look you desire, or clearance necessary to clear brake calipers. This typically requires longer bolts. Using longer style APR wheel studs will provide more thread engagement to secure your wheels tightly to their mounting hubs. APR Braided Stainless Steel Direct-Fit Brake Lines

APR braided stainless steel brake line upgrades are a direct-fit replacement that improves your braking experience with the best lines on the market today. Forget the factory rubber hoses that expand and can even rupture over time. These braided 304 stainless steel lines with a smooth-bore PTFE core allow for very little expansion. This gives you a firmer brake pedal with less required pedal travel, as the fluid gets to its destination faster without all the flex and expansion that happens with lower quality lines. Unlike many universal lines on the market that often use connector adapters, APR brake lines are application-specific with the correct length and hose fittings, eliminating potential leak points.
