The entire Tuffy deck enclosure is constructed using welded 16-gauge steel, heavy-duty fasteners, and is covered with a durable textured powder coat finish. The welded steel lid easily hinges open for access when the rear vehicle door is opened using Tuffy's patented security system. Flaming River tilt column shift steering columns feature large tube diameters and compact shrouds to create a unique custom look. Available in a variety of styles, lengths, and shaft sizes, they come complete with a gearshift knob, billet dress up kit (tilt, turn signal lever, and hazard knob), GM wiring (4 1/4 in. connector), and removable 12-position linkage arm. The columns are manufactured from high-quality 304 grade stainless steel, will never rust, and are available in a variety of finishes—including a paintable mill finish, black powdercoated, spray chromed, or polished to a high luster. Mill finish columns are shipped chemically clean and can be painted to match or highlight an interior with only minor preparation. A combination neutral safety switch/back-up light (sold separately) must be ordered with the column, except for select models that include a switch. Select units include an integrated ignition key located at the 3 o'clock position, with no welded-on attachments or extra relays required. These columns are complete with a key assembly, wiring, and ignition switch. Columns are offered with or without illuminated gearshift indicators. Have an overdrive automatic transmission? No problem; order the optional gearshift indicator overdrive lens (sold separately). Flaming River tilt column shift steering columns are available in universal and vehicle-specific models.

The kits replicate your original style cut pile—and these premium replacements are made using 40 percent more top-quality nylon than standard cut pile, and are 50 percent heavier in weight for greater durability and a more luxurious feel. The new carpet eliminates the problems of poor abrasion resistance, shedding fibers, and "fuzzing," while providing excellent protection against color fading. The Mass backing is a special latex coating that's thermos-bonded to the back of the carpet to substantially increase the insulating and sound deadening properties of the basic carpet set. Then, a 36 oz. jute padding is attached to the underside of the carpet to increase your comfort.
