The lid is manufactured using a special composite material, specifically chosen for its ability to resist power-robbing underhood heat. Tuned or stock, with the addition of a SF Intake system turbocharger induction noise and bypass valve venting sounds are much more audible. COBB Tuning SF Intakes were designed to be easy to install without having to modify your car. Installation requires no cutting or trimming of any components and can be completed with simple hand tools. Simply remove the stock air box and bolt the SF intake into place in just minutes. With five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media between a 100 percent polyurethane top and base, Pro 5R high-flow, oiled, conical filters are washable and reusable for multiple cleanings.
