They include all new parts and are ready to drop into your axle with top-quality Super Finish 29-spline ring and pinion gears, and your choice of locker. The ring and pinion gears are treated with the REM Isotropic Super Finishing (ISF) process, which removes the microscopic peaks in the material and creates a surface on the ring and pinion gears with a roughness of less than 10 µin Ra. This means that there is less friction between the gears, reducing wear by 95 percent, and allowing the gears and bearings to run cooler and last longer. Select the ideal kit for your application. The Rock Defense T-case crossmembers are made from 3/8 in. thick 1010 steel, so you have confidence that your transfer case is supported and covered when you are sliding over even the nastiest rocks. These crossmember kits can be mounted either by drilling the frame and bolting the crossmember in, or simply by welding the crossmember mounting brackets to the frame and bolting the crossmember to the mounting brackets. Trail-Gear also offers single transfer case crossmember kits. Both dual case and single case crossmembers use the same mounting brackets, so that once you have your single case brackets installed, there is no need to change them when upgrading to dual cases. You simply bolt dual case crossmember into the same bracket, all that is needed is an additional T-case mount. Now available with a heavy-duty 25 percent higher spring rate, Trail-Gear Super Flex front leaf springs are perfect for heavier trucks and 4Runners that need that extra strength for the trail. They are also great for V6 and V8 engine swaps. Remember, if you install a heavier engine, it may be a good idea to improve your suspension. Otherwise, it's like asking your ride to do the same trail while overloaded with weight. It may get you to the trail faster, but those hills and terrain may just be too much for it to run that chassis and engine over.
