Summit Racing™ manual transmission safety bellhousings are SFI 6.1 approved bellhousings designed and manufactured to fit most popular vehicles—whether for racing or used to swap engines/transmissions. The Summit Racing™ bellhousings will give you a peace of mind that should a clutch or flywheel failure occur, the damage will be contained within the bellhousing. The Hydroformed process of these components makes for a superior one-piece design, thus, producing a consistent wall thickness and uniform strength throughout the structure to eliminate possible weak welded joints. These bellhousings use certified American made steel, stress relieved, then is shot peened to reach maximum yield strength.
