Permatex penetrating grade threadlocker is an OEM-specified solution for fasteners ranging from No. 2 to 1/2 in. diameter in size. A medium strength anaerobic threadlocking material that cures between engaged threads to form a unitized assembly that resists virtually all leakage, shock and vibration. Because of its low viscosity and capillary action, this threadlocker wicks between engaged threads and eliminates the need to disassemble, apply product and then reassemble. This product can also fill porosity in welds, castings and powder metal parts. Excellent chemical resistance with a temperature resistance range of -54 degrees C to 150 degrees C (-65 degrees F to 300 degrees F). Permatex penetrating grade threadlocker is applied after assembly, simplifying preventive maintenance procedures.
