Recommended Fuel: 91 Octane. The front accessory drive on this engine fits many vehicles, however it is the customer responsibility to accurately measure and confirm fitment. Note this is a low-profile design, but things such as power steering hoses, alternator wiring, and additional fittings/fabrication may be required on some vehicles. BluePrint Engines recommends a 2200+ RPM stall converter. Retro fit oil pan will fit most 1955-1995 GM front engine, RWD, V8 cars. Not for use in pollution-controlled vehicles or in dry sump applications. The LS controller package is for engine control only. Does not contain any transmission or body control. The ECU comes with calibration that is optimal for our engine, however, please note that vehicle parameters such as gearing, tire size, vehicle weight, air intake, headers, etc. may necessitate additional tuning once installed into your specific vehicle. The ECU is unlocked for further refinement at your local dyno shop if required. BluePrint Engines recommends their air intake kit (BPPLS01013) to ensure correct MAF calculations and Dyno calibration are maintained with the provided ECU/tuning.

BluePrint Engines GM 383 c.i.d. 436 hp dressed stroker long block crate engines with fuel injection will provide you a great foundation to return your vehicle to the performance level you desire. They feature a new one-piece rear main BluePrint engine block with 4-bolt mains and passenger side dipstick. Inside the block is a cast crankshaft and connecting rod rotating assembly, with 10.1:1 compression hypereutectic pistons hung on the end. The full roller camshaft provides .544 intake/555 exhaust Lift with 230 intake/236 exhaust Duration at .050 with a 110 degree lobe separation. Up top is a dual-plane intake manifold with Holley Sniper fuel injection system The engines also include an oil pan, a set of valve covers, and a timing cover to finish them off.
