Wilwood Grand National GN6R radial-mount brake calipers bring state-of-the-art design, materials, and manufacturing technology to this long-standing icon in the Wilwood caliper line. Their high-strength forged aluminum body is either hard-anodized or finished in Quick-Silver nickel plating—and they're compatible with rotors from 1.25 in. to 1.38 in. thickness, and diameters from 12.19 in. to 13.06 in. Two body widths are available for use with .80 in. (20,3) or .99 in. (25,0) thick pads. Stainless steel pistons are included in the base model GN6R anodized calipers; and Thermlock pistons in the GN6R/ST Quick-Silver nickel plate models. With a high-strength forged aluminum body in a hard-anodized finish, the Grand National GN4R brake calipers are purpose-built for rotors with a 1.25 in. thickness and a special bracket offset. They also come with Thermlock insulated pistons. Wilwood offers the largest selection of bolt-on brake kits with specifically engineered and matched groups of components designed for superior brake system performance and custom appeal over a wide range of applications. Most kits install easily with common hand tools used to perform routine brake service.

Sharing all the benefits of the 4000 Series, DBA's 5000 Series XD wave brake disc rotors are a composite 2-piece direct replacement. DBA uses only the highest quality materials to ensure optimal performance under the most strenuous circumstances, combining high-carbon cast iron rings with aerospace-grade aluminum hats (T6061-T6), held together with National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts. The 5000 Series include all of the performance technology featured in the 4000 Series, with the added benefits of further weight reduction and improved heat management via aluminum hats. The use of aluminum hats reduces the unsprung weight of the brake rotors, while allowing for uniform radial disc expansion through the cast iron rings, and reduced heat transfer from disc to hub via the aluminum hats. DBA offers both complete assemblies for first time replacement (hats and flat discs bolted together), along with replacement hats and flat disc rotors (rings). This allows drivers to re-use their DBA 5000 Series hats with DBA replacement flat discs (rings). DBA recommends the 5000 Series for high performance street vehicles, track day and club racing, and rally applications.
