You'll find these single-plane manifolds on oval tracks, in drag racing, and on NASCAR engines--anywhere that maximum horsepower and torque are needed. The extended, constant cross-sectional area of the runners produces more torque across the midrange--from 3,500 up to 8,500 rpm in most instances. Ideal for high-rpm drag race applications, these Victor E EFI manifolds have a larger and deeper plenum than other manifolds. They provide maximum power in the higher rpm range for engines with standard port location iron and aluminum heads. The runners have a tapered cross-section, and plenty of material at the manifold port exit allows port matching to the small port heads used in NHRA Super Stock classes. The carb mount pad is 1.12 in. taller than the Victor Jr. LS1 manifolds, and the port exits have been increased to 1.08 in. x 2.74 in. For bolt-on convenience, use Edelbrock's timing control module to drive the stock coil-on-plug ignition system. Edelbrock Glidden Victor Spider intake manifolds are specifically intended for use on 375 c.i.d. and higher HO drag race engines. They were developed in conjunction with noted drag racer Billy Glidden to complement the flow characteristics of fully ported 18 and 15 degree cylinder heads. The intake manifolds use either 4150 or a 4500 Series Dominator carburetor flange and dividers that have been pulled back to increase plenum size and shorten the runners for improved high-rpm performance. The runners are wider at the plenum, producing approximately 3.6 sq. in. of area at the opening. A Victor base, sold separately, is required for installation.

Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifolds incorporate race-winning technology that's been used on Victor Series competition intakes for years. The open air space from the Air-Gap design separates the runners from the heat of the lifter-valley cover. So, the air/fuel mixture stays cooler all the way to the heads, which produces a denser charge for more power. Runners are tuned to move the power band 1,000 rpm higher than Performer Air-Gap manifolds, from idle to 5,500 rpm up to 1,500 to 6,500 rpm.

Victor and Victor Jr. Series aluminum heads are designed using the latest induction technology for outstanding performance and maximum horsepower. They're ideal for the small block Ford Windsor, and small and big block Chevys. Victor Jr. Series heads are perfect for many types of competition and ultra-high performance street machines. They include threaded inserts (heli-coil) in rocker stud and exhaust manifold bolt holes. They have hardened seats and bronze valve guides for strength and durability, and a minimum 9/16 in. deck thickness and machined valve cover rails provide a more consistent gasket seal. Victor Series heads are a step above the rest, for even greater gains in horsepower. All of these heads feature reinforced rocker stud bosses, high-flow intake/exhaust ports, and specially contoured combustion chambers.

An upgrade to the Victor series, these Edelbrock Victor Pro Series 2-piece water pumps are designed for high output racing engines, especially dirt late model and circle track applications. They feature a 2-piece cartridge style design for easy maintenance and improved performance. The 2-piece design features improved symmetrical flow paths resulting in increased flow and requiring less horsepower from the engine. A new aggressive impeller with improved inlet and outlet port designs provides maximum cooling with equal distribution making this water pump highly efficient.
