Made from high-silicon-moly ductile iron, these manifolds are much more durable and retain more heat than fabricated headers. The manifold kits include stainless steel V-band clamps and flanges, heater hose heat shield, and header bolts. A turbo crossover tube is used to connect the two manifolds (sold separately). The finish is 60 percent more corrosion-resistant than an unpolished surface, easy to maintain, and will last for years under normal operation conditions. MCTBC also protects and extends the life of headers by creating a thermal barrier (heat-resistant up to 1,600 degrees F) that significantly lowers underhood temperatures and protects the substrate metal from thermal fatigue. * Hi-Temp black coating is an affordably priced alternative to their MCTBC.
