The RaceQuip PRO20 Carbon side air helmet is a Snell SA2020 rated full face auto racing helmet that incorporates contemporary styling with advanced composite production techniques. The shell is built using pre-preg carbon fiber and kevlar materials placed into pressurized steel molds to achieve the best combination of light weight and strength. These helmets are also sometimes called forced air, blower, or pumper helmets because they have a provision on the helmet to attach a fresh air hose. The left side manifold design utilizes an inlet barb that works with standard 1.250 in. round hose. The forced air is channeled from the manifold across the faceshield from left to right.The forced air cools your face and airways and also keeps the faceshield fog free. Reinforced M6 threaded HANS/HNR inserts are mated to the Carbon Fiber shell along with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint device anchor posts (not included) can be easily attached to the outside of the helmet using the installed M6 threaded inserts. The distortion free 3mm polycarbonate faceshield features a red anodized aluminum pivot kit, hand ratcheting TearOff posts, and a silicone eyeport gasket to seal out dust and dirt. A wide eyeport provides good peripheral vision and allows the use of personal eyewear. Lifeline Fire Zero 3620 Fire Marshal fire suppression systems use a combination of 3M Novec 1230 and an AR-AFFF blend for use with unleaded petrol, diesel, and E85 fueled vehicles. Housed within a single fabricated aluminum cylinder, the extinguishing agent discharges into both the engine and cockpit via aluminum tubing. This tubing is connected using high-quality, lightweight aluminum compression fittings. The systems are supplied with sufficient lengths of delivery pipework to ensure the best possible packaging within all vehicles. They also include two extra coolant outlets to be fitted for multiple areas in the engine bay that might need cooled down to help prevent re-ignition. For proper driver/co-pilot safety and FIA-compliance, all Lifeline Zero 3620 systems are described by cockpit volume.
