Howards Cams extreme billet main caps are precision CNC-machined from superior-quality low-carbon 1020 billet material. They come available as stock replacements (straight bolt) or with splayed outer bolt holes. The splayed caps feature 10 degree angled outer holes to positively reinforce and tie the block together. Front, rear and center caps are all available. Use all the Howards Cams caps together for the ultimate in bottom-end stress and flex management. Howards Cams main caps feature side notches for easy removal and are proudly 100 percent manufactured in the USA. Line boring is required after installation.

ARP main stud kits help eliminate main cap walk/fretting and protect the threads in your engine block. They include studs made from 8740 chromoly steel and heat-treated in-house to 190,000 psi tensile-strength rating. The precision J-form threads are rolled after heat-treat for much stronger threads than the competition. Kits come complete with hardened parallel-ground washers and high-quality nuts. They'll have your rotating kit bolted in with the included main cap bolts, and you'll keep the piston temperature under control with the piston cooling nozzles.
