These high-quality long tube Tri-Y swap headers are made from 304 stainless steel and feature 3/8 in. thick flanges, 18-gauge with 1 7/8 in. primary tubes, and 3.00 in. collectors. These swap headers provide clearance to the brake booster, steering shaft, starter motor (both left and right side mounted starters), and provide clearance for several automatic and manual transmission options. These Hooker LS cast iron exhaust manifolds have been designed to hug close to the engine block so they fit into a wide variety of replacement engine swap applications. Their contoured design aims the exhaust directly at the exit port for greatly improved flow. They are cast from high silicon moly ductile iron to provide durability, leak free performance and less under the hood noise than conventional headers. The Hooker LS cast iron exhaust manifolds are recommended for strong performance on engines up to 500 horsepower and are available in plain as cast finish or with Hooker ceramic coatings for reduced engine temperatures and improved corrosion resistance. They also feature 304 stainless steel mating flanges to help provide a leak-free installation, and a two bolt exit flange which can be used with OEM style gaskets and fasteners for an excellent seal.

Varying with the application, Flowtech headers are constructed from sturdy and lightweight cold-rolled mild steel or stainless steel for increased strength and durability. All tubing is mandrel-bent to provide consistent tubing diameter for smooth flow and increased exhaust velocity. Extra-thick, machined header flanges provide a leak-free seal and maximum strength. For long-term rust and corrosion-resistance, available finishes include natural and polished stainless steel, high heat-resistant black paint, or a satin silver metallic ceramic thermal barrier coating. All mounting hardware and premium gaskets are included. Important notes: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Ceramic coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat. Hooker recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers to break in new engines to avoid coating damage. Flowtech does not recommend the use of header wraps as this will void the warranty.
