Trail-Gear universal heavy-duty hydro assist ram kits feature a heavy-duty single-ended hydraulic ram in your choice of 6 in. or 8 in. stroke. Trail-Gear's specially designed ram features a 1 1/8 in. rod for maximum strength and a 2 1/4 in. diameter bore for maximum steering force. The provided mounting brackets in kit have fitments made from 1/4 in. thick-formed steel. The specially formed brackets fit most applications to make installation a breeze, however, do take note some applications may require additional cutting and/or grinding.
