Baer Brakes Baer Claw Extreme+ disc brake systems are Baer's flagship offerings, featuring their forged Monoblock calipers mounted to 2-piece rotors. The Extreme+ systems employ current state-of-the-art race technology usually only found in very expensive race calipers. Baer now brings that technology to the road-going market. The 6S line of calipers represent Baer's most aggressive road offering and are suitable for virtually any level of track use. Optional R-Spec 6R calipers are a race version of 6S calipers; available for any Extreme+ system. The R-Spec calipers feature additional machining to the 6S calipers to save close to 2 lbs. per caliper and allow for top-loaded pads. Over 400 models are available for specific vehicle, bolt pattern, and axle applications. Features include: * MonoBlock calipers machined from a single piece of 2618 forged aluminum * The only 6-piston, forged, mono-block calipers offered to the road-going/street market * Stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise-suppression springs * Staggered piston sizes to minimize pad wear * Uses the common D1247 (DR11) race pad backing plate, shared by many competition calipers * Dual seals (dust/weather and pressure) to meet D.O.T specifications * Caliper can accept 13.5 in. to 16 in. rotors * Machined, hand-painted logos * Available in a variety of powdercoat finishes * Uses correct banjo-style fittings; Baer does not use any pipe thread * Available for front or rear * Offers the exact same look front and rear—the only brake manufacturer that offers this! * Rear systems incorporate a drum-in-hat parking brake * Rear systems for C-clip axles include Baer's Verislide self-centering brackets * Systems include everything needed for each corner, including hoses and fittings (except for general fit applications)

Johnson's Hot Rod Shop JHRS Kinmont Safety Stop Brakes
Johnson's Hot Rod Shop Kinmont Safety Stop brakes combine the vintage look of the original Kinmont design with the stopping power of modern disc brakes. They also include internal features that make them easy to bleed and maintenance-free. Designed around the venerable 1937-48 Ford spindle, they use a 10.5 in. vented rotor with a 4-piston caliper. The aluminum caliper is equipped with proper internal dust caps and seals, and stainless steel pistons. The design allows for easy assembly and access to the bleed valves. The drum cover and backing plate are precision cast and available in natural-cast or polished finishes. The billet aluminum hubs are offered in three patterns to fit most wheel configurations. There are other Kinmont replica brakes out there, but JHRS Kinmont Safety Stop brakes have what it takes to last and to look great for many years.

Johnson's Hot Rod Shop offers drum brake kits for a variety of applications. These rear brake kits are designed to work with a 9 in. Ford rear-end axle running the new style Torino big bearing flange with a 2.5 in. brake space. They utilize a 10 in. drum brake assembly with 2 in. brake shoes. The look of the original Kinmont Safe Stop brakes is prized by hot rodders everywhere. What's often forgotten is that they're terrible at stopping a car.
