PSC offers hydraulic steering cylinder assist axle kits for a variety of Jeep applications from the 1980s and up. The 6 in. or 8 in. stroke kits are available with different components; some include a steering box, pump, and fluid cooler. PSC Jeep JL/JT Cylinder Assist Big Bore XD Steering Kits
Many late-model Jeeps are equipped with new computer controlled electro-hydraulic steering (EHPS), electronic stability control (ESC), electronic roll mitigation (ERM), and a weight-saving aluminum housing steering gearbox. PSC has taken the Jeep steering system back to the drawing board and engineered its exclusive Big Bore XD steering gearbox and a traditional belt-driven high-flow mechanical power steering pump conversion. This produces an essential upgrade to solve the undesirable factory steering performance, while efficiently handling the increased torque loads due to larger tire sizes and installing aftermarket axle assemblies.
