The pressure inside the intake manifold is an extremely important input to the engine control unit. Holley Sniper MAP sensors respond to changes in manifold pressures and relay the information to the ECU in the form of a voltage signal ranging from 1-5 volts. These replacement sensors will handle applications up to 25 lbs. of boost. The Holley Sniper EFI remote IAC and plug is designed to gain installation clearance on some Sniper EFI 2x4 installations. With select intake manifolds, the distributor housing and IAC valve on the back of the Sniper EFI throttle body are fighting for the same real estate. This plug allows you to use Holley's remote IAC kit—which utilizes the factory Sniper EFI wiring and IAC connector to relocate the IAC off of the throttle body for a clean installation.
