Red Line Engine Oil Break-In additive provides conventional motor oils with anti-wear elements, like zinc and phosphorus that are necessary to protect against camshaft and valvetrain damage on break-in. This is especially important in flat-tappet engines where bigger camshaft grinds and higher valve spring pressures are now popular. Red Line Engine Oil Break-In additive is designed to allow piston rings to seat properly, while enabling other engine components to avoid excessive wear. One 16 oz. bottle treats up to 12 qts. of motor oil--in many cases, one bottle can service two different engines. The fluid can also be added to conventional and synthetic oils during regular operation, providing an extra package of protection not otherwise found in most motor oils.

Red Line's V-twin primary case oil is designed specifically for 1984-to-present V-Twin American motorcycle engines, including aftermarket engines of similar designs. Similar to Red Line MTL, this product is for use in the primary chain case with wet-diaphragm spring clutches. Designed to operate over a wide temperature range, V-twin primary case oil improves clutch operation, while reducing wear and temperature. Where most synthetics are too slippery for clutch operation, this friction-balanced product is designed to provide less slip, smoother operation, and more power in modified engines.
