USA Standard Gear full spools can handle more torque and provide a more rigid ring gear platform than mechanical lockers—and weigh less, too. These full spools do not have any moving parts and are designed to provide equal torque to each wheel all the time. Since they don't allow for differentiation, they're not recommended for use on the street. Mud boggers find these spools able to stand up to tall tires and provide excellent straight line traction.
