Sonnax billet accumulator pistons feature a stronger piston made from anodized billet aluminum with a dual-seal design. OEM plastic accumulators are prone to breaking and have poor sealing qualities and the metal rings currently offered with aftermarket accumulators also have issues with sealing. Sonnax piston's seals prevent piston-to-bore contact and the D-rings vastly improve sealing compared to aftermarket steel rings.

Sonnax heavy-duty reverse pistons offer high-strength that will not break at racing pressures. Made from 6061 T-6 billet aluminum, Sonnax reverse pistons are configured to utilize four frictions and five steels, but can also be machined to accept additional frictions and steels for trans-brake applications. They're customizable for any application. To reduce rotating weight in Circle Track applications, two frictions (rotating) and seven steels (non-rotating) can be used. Sonnax heavy-duty reverse pistons include inner and outer seals.
