Engine Works offers racing and street/strip distributors for a wide range of applications, including many Chevrolet big block and small block V8 engines from 1955 and up. These replacements feature a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum housing with O-ring grooves, ideal for fully machined engine blocks. The centerless ground shaft rides on an upper sealed roller bearing with an extra-long lower bronze Oil-Lite bushing for smooth operation at high RPMs and extended service life. The fully adjustable mechanical (or vacuum and mechanical) advance is welded to the top of the shaft for easy access—and is plated to reduce friction and prevent corrosion for long-term durability.
