Driven Racing Oil BR30 break-in motor oil is used to break-in and dyno all engines. Petroleum oil provides the highest levels of zinc and phosphorus for flat-tappet engines. Additive package promotes ring seal and provides maximum protection available for cams and lifters during initial break-in. It requires no additional additives and is good for full power pulls on the dyno, one night of racing or up to 400 miles on the street. It provides maximum compression and generates maximum horsepower. Compatible with methanol and high-octane race fuels. Combined with Driven Racing Oil engine assembly grease, BR30 provides the highest levels of protection for camshafts, lifters, wrist pins, distributor gears, push rods and rocker arms. The Driven Racing Oil BR30 break-in motor oil can be used for up to 2 hours of break-in/dyno time before changing to race oil.

Driven Racing Oil BR40 Conventional Break-In Motor Oil features the same high zinc and phosphorous formula as Driven's original break-in oil—now in SAE 10W-40 viscosity. It's well suited for classic muscle car, European sports car, and motorcycle engines. The special lubricant is ideal for flat tappet and aggressive roller valve trains, as well as ethanol blended, pure methanol and oxygenated race fuels. This oil does not require additional ZDDP additives. BR40 Break-In Motor Oil is good for dyno testing, one night of racing, or up to 400 miles on the street. (NOTE: Driven BR40 is a break-In oil and should only be used for engine break-In. This engine oil will NOT meet any current API or OEM engine oil specifications, as it's formulated specifically for engine break-in only.)

Driven Racing Oil GP-1 high performance break-in motor oil formulation starts with the best source—premium Pennsylvania-grade crude and its above-average paraffin and other waxes content. Next, it's combined with Driven's high-zinc/low-detergent additive package for an enhanced, synergetic chemical balance to correctly prep your new engine. This oil eliminates the need for any supplemental ZDDP (high zinc)/initiation additives, whether you've got a flat tappet, overhead, or roller cam engine. Driven Racing Oil GP-1 high performance break-in motor oil features a viscosity equivalent to SAE 30, and can equally be used for dyno tuning or first-time street operation

High viscosity assembly lubricant (HVL) provides a tenacious yet fluid film to protect reciprocating and rotating components during assembly and initial break-in. This non-foaming product mixes with the break-in oil and extends the oil film thickness during the critical break-in process. Fortified with ZDDP. Apply to engine bearings, piston skirts, bushings, timing chains and gears, as well as oil pump gears. HVL will not harden or cause parts to become "sticky."
