They work by producing high crankcase vacuum, which increases power by improving ring seal, preventing blowby, and detonation. Allowing the use of lower-tension piston rings for less friction. These positive pumps are much more consistent and effective than header-mounted evacuation systems.

CVR Mechanical Vacuum Pumps

CVR mechanical vacuum pumps can be used on wet or dry sump engines and are designed with precision-sealed roller bearings. They are precision-machined from T-6 6061 aluminum and clear hard-anodized for extended wear. CVR pumps achieve greater vacuum sooner and are maintenance-free.
