These braces replace your weaker, stamped factory brace that is able to twist with the car, creating excess force in unwanted areas. UMI Performance uses full-machined endplates that bolt into your factory locations, joined by rectangular tubing that is fully MIG-welded for added strength. Topping off these braces is either a red or black powdercoated finish that shields them from the elements. Upgrade your tunnel brace to improve rigidity and increase clearance to fit larger exhaust systems. Factory stamped steel tunnel braces unfortunately leave much to be desired. APR has redesigned these 6061 aluminum braces to sit slightly lower in the tunnel to allow for larger exhaust tubing. As an added benefit, the CNC-bent laser-cut braces add additional structural rigidity to the chassis! Tunnel brace model EXH0321 fits C7 chassis A6/7, S6/7, RS6/7.
