Lang Tools thread restorer files renew damaged external threads, of any diameter, right or left hand. Just select the proper number of threads per inch or millimeters per thread; then, overlapping several good threads, work over the area using regular file strokes. Sold individually or in sets with a reusable pouch, they can restore SAE thread pitches from as few as nine up to 32 threads per inch. Metric thread files can renew a range of pitches from 0.75mm through 3.00mm per thread. Rethreading files are highly tempered for strength and durability.
