REDARC solar regulators ensure that the power supplied by your solar panels is at the right voltage to charge your lead acid house or auxiliary batteries. The regulators are Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) controlled and incorporate automatic system voltage detection. They're available in 10, 20, and 30 amp models which are capable of charging either 12 V or 24 V battery systems. REDARC solar regulators use genuine Anderson SB 50 connectors. The SRPA regulators are supplied factory set to the AGM battery type setting; A REDARC remote monitor (SRPA-RM) is required to change the battery type.

Compact and easy to install, these advanced charge controllers are designed for remote power solar applications and can be used with 12 V and 24 V, lead-acid and AGM, 12 V lithium batteries. Once hooked up, the controller will automatically detect the voltage of the battery and then begin regulating the charge from the connected solar panel. * THREE-STAGE CHARGING: - Initialization: determining correct connection, battery voltage and charge level - Low Voltage Protection: when the battery drops below the selected voltage, the output load will turn off and the battery will recharge (default 10 V) - Low Voltage Recovery Re-Engage: when the battery has charged back up to the selected voltage, the output load will turn on (default 12.5 V)

These kits come with the Anderson SB 50 connectors and are ideal for use with the 150 watt and 190 watt SunPower cell blanket. The solar regulator acts as the go-between to transfer power generated from the panels to the battery. The 5m Anderson to Anderson cable provides the option to increase the distance from the solar blanket to the vehicle, allowing you to set up camp in a shady area but still get the most out of the sun. The 1.5m Anderson to battery clip cable allows a fast and high-quality portable connection from the solar regulator direct to the battery terminals. The use of genuine industry standard Anderson SB 50 connectors ensures simple and fast connection, with no screw terminals and no risk of poor connections from frayed wires or loose terminals—just plug and play!
