Whether you’re hauling a heavy load or just plain hauling, Summit Racing Equipment has the 4L60E shifter for your ride. General Motors’ 4L60E is a popular 4-speed automatic that is a continuation of the successful TH700R4 transmission. Like the 700R4, it has a 30% overdrive gear, and the “E” suffix indicates electronic control. GM introduced it in the early 1990s and it’s still a popular transmission today, seeing use in everything from stock pickup trucks to LS-swapped drag cars.
