Summit Racing™ RTV Red Silicone

Summit Racing™ RTV red silicone is a low volatile sealant-adhesive that can be used on metal, glass, wood, ceramics, rubber, and most plastics. As an instant gasket maker, this product replaces a wide range of paper, cork, asbestos, felt, and metal gaskets. It has excellent adhesion characteristics, high chemical resistance, will not sag or shrink, and is even impervious to temperature extremes. RTV red silicone is safe for use on oxygen sensor-equipped vehicles, remains permanently flexible, has a temperature range of -60 degrees F to +650 degrees F, and meets or exceeds mil spec (MIL-A-46106). For best adhesion results, the surface must be clean, dry, and free from oil, tar, dirt, and dust.
