Available with either 19 1/2 in. or 24 1/2 in. tie rod centers, they feature hardened 4140 chromoly pinions that ride on a system of ball-bearings, delivering a seamless feel in the driver's hand with the confidence of durability and longevity. The steering box housing is CNC-machined from 6061 T-6511 billet aluminum for lightweight with extreme strength. Everything that goes into Strange door car steering racks--from the self-lubricating bronze bushings that allow the unit to move and flex smoothly to the dual lip pinion seal and heavy-duty, nylon reinforced neoprene boots that keep debris and moisture at bay--is top quality.
