Like all of your accessories, your power steering pump is held in place on the engine by a set of brackets. These power steering brackets help maintain proper belt tension and geometry so your pump runs at maximum efficiency.

For restoration and repair projects Summit Racing Equipment carries stock replacement and reproduction brackets. If you’re sprucing up your engine compartment, a set of custom brackets are certainly part of the dress up package. If you’re running headers, you may need to relocate the power steering pump to make room, and there are bracket kits made just for this configuration.
