Stroud Safety Drag Chute Mount Kits

Drag chutes are designed to do one thing—to slow your car down from terminal velocity effectively and safely. Stroud Safety mount kits allow your chutes to be positioned for optimum deployment. Mounting the parachute system on the rear of the vehicle is a critical part of the installation. In order to ensure that the parachute "sees" the air flowing over the rear of the vehicle properly, it should be mounted 45 degrees from horizontal, and up and behind the spoiler. Kits are fabricated from lightweight 4130 steel tubing and come with all the material and hardware to mount your chutes. Some fabrication and welding is required. The dual chute kits are made from slightly larger tubing and should be angled away from each other 15 degrees so they're easier to pack.
