Dorman impact sensors signal the vehicle's onboard computer system during sudden, extreme deceleration--helping the computer to determine whether or not airbag deployment is necessary. They are plug-and-play for easy, economical installation, with no reprogramming necessary. The sensors are direct replacements for a proper fit; they also turn off the airbag light and help restore your airbag system to proper operation.
