Then use the KBS RustBlast to remove rust and etch the interior metal to provide a proper surface for adhesion. Formulated with Oxygen-Block Technology, these prep products reduce the occurrence of flash rust by over 80 percent and extend rust-free storage times by leaving a temporary protective coating in addition to a zinc phosphate film. The final step is the KBS Gold Standard Tank Sealer. This sealer is a ready to use coating that cures into a tough, fuel impervious seal that prevents rust and corrosion, and seals weld seams and pinholes permanently.
