UMI Performance 1998-2002 F-Body LS1 Stage 1 front-end kits are the ideal starting point for reducing front-end weight and enhancing weight transfer in your 4th Gen vehicle. The dual tube K-member is renowned for its strength and durability, capable of withstanding wheel stand landings and street abuse while also decreasing weight and protecting the oil pan. The rod end lower A-arms minimize friction, allowing the car to respond quickly off the line, and reduce weight by 8 lbs. UMI's K-member and A-arms are made from robust DOM tubing, precision-bent, CNC-notched, and welded in a jig for a solid foundation. The included K-member is compatible with factory motor mounts, polyurethane motor mounts, or UMI's solid billet aluminum motor mounts (P/N 2323). Whether you want to decrease front-end weight, improve engine clearance, or enhance your street/strip car, the Stage 1 package is a great starting point.
