These head units utilize a patented cast yoke to allow for unimpeded head movement to provide exceptional stability for your trailer. The cast yoke with poly-torsion inserts suppresses shock loads and reduces noise; and the head unit features high-strength interlocking jaws to give the trailer stability and the freedom to pivot and swivel as needed. To protect your CURT hitch head against wear, rust, and whatever other threats might impede your cross-country tour, these units have a carbide black powdercoat finish, and have been tested for safety in accordance with SAE J2638 to ensure reliability for your travels on the road ahead.
