Brodix Cylinder Heads 8B 5000 Series aluminum engine blocks have taken the 5.0 bore spacing market to the next level. They combine the size and durability of a 5.0 in. bore spacing block with the convenience and availability of their 4.840 in. bore spacing counterpart. The engine blocks are 100 percent CNC-machined and employ the same technology that has made Brodix the undisputed leader in aluminum block development.

* Available 1.200 in. or 11.625 in. deck heights
* Oil restricted from the front (must use Brodix oil restrictors, sold separately)
* Proprietary A-356 virgin aluminum
* 1044 steel billet main caps
* Splayed center main caps
* Can be machined for roller cam bearings
* Strong main webbing
* Accepts stroker oil pans
* 1.0 raised cam location
* Additional head bolt lugs in deck area
* Thick wall sleeves with 1/4 in. registers
* Allow bore sizes up to 4.700 in., special sleeves available for up to 4.750 in. bores
* Reinforced lifter valley
* .937 in. or 1.062 in. lifter bore diameters available
* Can accept 5.375 in. stroke as cast, up to 5.750 in. with additional machining
