Chevrolet Performance DOD/AFM delete kits are a cylinder deactivation delete kit for the Chevrolet Gen V 5.3L engine. Why delete the DOD/AFM systems you may ask? Some performance drivers and engine builders prefer to have all cylinders active at all times. Other reasons are older systems that wear out over time and can become unreliable, or that sound of the engine may become unpleasant when cylinders drop out.
