Wilwood's D52-R single piston floater calipers feature a lightweight 4.3 lb. forged aluminum Type III hard-anodized body with a stainless steel piston. They're offered in a variety of options, including piston diameters of 2.38 or 2.75 in.; rotor widths of 0.81, 1.04, or 1.28 in.; and rotor diameters of up to 12.50 in. The caliper fluid inlet port is centered directly behind the piston, and this eliminates any interference with slide pins.

These heavy-duty brake calipers feature a lower deflection rate and higher volumetric efficiency, which makes them superior to heavier cast models. They use standard D52 pads available in a range of compounds for every application. The Wilwood D-52R calipers also use the original GM stock height and offset mounting, so there's no need to make expensive modifications.
