Icon Vehicle Dynamics' 3.0 Series coilovers with CDCV for select Toyota Tundras are designed to take the off-road capability of the truck to new levels—by increasing wheel travel by up to 40 percent and significantly improving the damping ability of the front shocks. The 3.0 Series shocks boast 50 percent more piston surface area in the ride zone of the shock's travel, and 100 percent in the "Bump Zone," compared to 2.5 Series shocks. This translates into increased stability and vehicle control at the extremes of off-road use, with benefits in on-road driving conditions, as well. The multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone featured in 3.0 Series shocks exponentially increases bottom-out resistance as the shock travels through the last 40 percent of travel, keeping vehicle dynamics in check during those hard hits or unexpected obstacles. ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Control Valves are included for precisely dialing in your suspension performance. ADS offers direct-fit race coilover shocks for a variety of applications. They're available in non-adjustable or single-adjustable (with 20 valving selections) models. These coilovers were born from years of desert racing experience. Performance, reliability and longevity were the primary concerns when they were in development. Each part has a purpose, from the screw- in end cap reservoirs to the captive lower spring perch. Extended threaded bodies allow for larger range of adjustment on dual rate spring setups. Heavy-duty adjustment collars prevent thread skipping when adjusting preload or crossover engagement. Truncated threads prevent dirt and debris from jamming into hardware.
