MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor spark plug wire sets feature a special helically wound core that has just 40-50 ohms of resistance per foot—but with an RFI suppression equal to a 1,500 ohm wire. In fact, each foot of finished wire includes 40 ft. of tightly wound copper for superior conductivity. This winding procedure, combined with a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core, produces an extremely effective Electro Magnetic Interference "choke." This choke, or suppression capability, keeps the EMI inside the wire where it cannot interfere with other electronics on your vehicle. A tough, 8.5mm synthetic/silicone jacket over an extra-heavy glass braid and dielectric insulator keeps the current guided to the plugs. Underneath the high-temperature boots, dual crimp stainless steel terminals feature snap-locks to ensure a secure fit. Each set comes with clip-on cylinder markers for easy identification. Clevite H-Series main bearings were developed primarily for NASCAR racing, but are well suited to other types of competition engines as well. They're especially good for engines that run at medium-to-high revs. They have steel backings with carefully selected overlays and a high crush factor, plus a medium level of eccentricity. Walbro electric in-tank fuel pumps are available in a variety of flow ratings, including pumps that flow significantly more fuel at higher pressure. The outside dimensions, however, of many pumps are compact enough to fit existing hanger assemblies, without modification. All pumping components have been validated to OEM specifications for use in E85/flex fuel applications. Most Walbro in-tank fuel pumps utilize a proven gerotor design. Some high-performance models, including those designed for engines with more than 750 hp, feature a dual-channel turbine design for maximum efficiency in high-pressure and high-temperature applications. The blades feed two high-pressure pumping channels, as opposed to a conventional single-stage pump that uses an impeller with a single row of blades at its outer edge. This innovative design results in improved hot fuel flow, as well as minimal noise and current use, resulting in efficiency that's higher than conventional pumps. Some pumps require modifications to system wiring, fuel lines, and the fuel module, and should be professionally installed. Installation kits including a fuel strainer, fuel hose, harness pigtail, clamps, and wire connectors are sold separately.
