Hays Street 650 Clutch Conversion Kits
Hays Street 650 clutch conversion kits are designed to handle highly modified engines up to 650 hp naturally aspirated (600 hp for forced induction and nitrous combinations). The new 26-spline versions work in conjunction with a modern 5- or 6-speed transmission swap. These are true street/strip clutches for spirited high performance driving or frequent track use. The high performance dual-friction disc utilized in the Street 650 has an upgraded spring hub with heavy-duty damper springs to handle greater shock loads versus a standard damper spring. The disc features a sintered metallic friction surface and an organic friction surface. RAM Stock Rule Clutch Systems
RAM clutches for 'stock clutch rule' classes give you unmatched performance and durability. The 10.5 in. diameter assembly utilizes a billet aluminum pressure ring with a riveted steel heat shield that provides a durable mating surface for the clutch disc. A 3,000 lb. pressure spring provides increased static pressure over stock clutches. Used in conjunction with a RAM 6-paddle solid hub disc, this combination weighs in at just over 15 lbs. If your rules require a full facing or sprung hub disc, the RAM 300 Series organic racing disc provides the best holding power of any organic disc available and adds only about 2 lbs. to the total weight of the set. RAM offers a lightweight 17 lb. billet steel flywheel for Chevrolet that matches the above components. If you are required to use all-steel components, RAM offers a similar 10.5 in. pressure plate with a nodular iron pressure ring.
