Holley Sniper EFI HyperSpark distributor kits were designed to make upgrading your ignition on a Sniper EFI-equipped engine simple. When installed concurrently with a new Sniper EFI system, the combination creates the easiest way to install EFI conversion on the market—and only four flying lead connections are required! The harness only requires one connection to a switched power source, battery positive, battery negative, and fuel pump power. The pre-terminated connectors and a built in 40A relay provides power to all of the components within the system. With the included Sniper EFI main harness you no longer need to run multiple wires to provide switched power for each individual component, which not only helps prevent wiring confusion, but it will also speed up your install time and clean up your engine bay. Simply route the harness and pre-terminated connectors to your HyperSpark coil, distributor, and ignition box and plug them in. MSD Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run distributors are the perfect upgrade for weak OE electronic distributors, outdated points distributors, and large HEIs or DuraSparks. All that's required is to install the distributor in the engine, and connect three wires and the coil! A maintenance-free magnetic pickup accurately triggers this ignition with increased output from the amplifier, easily outperforming stock ignitions. It will smooth out the engine's idle, improve starting, and perform at a much higher rpm. The housing is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, using state-of-the-art CNC mills and lathes for a unit with no porosity or weak areas. For stability and endurance, an oversized steel shaft spins in a top-mounted sealed ball bearing, while an extra-long sintered bushing guides the shaft at the base of the housing. This shaft also receives a QPQ coating for low friction wear and resistance against corrosion from humidity and ozone buildup. The distributors feature MSD's adjustable mechanical advance, which allows you to custom-tailor an ignition curve to match your engine's needs. Jesel Extreme Series distributor drive kits were introduced in 2011, and are designed to handle the high cylinder pressures experienced in Pro Stock and Pro-Mod type engines. They feature MSD 5 in. Pro-Caps to ensure accurate spark delivery, as well as to reduce spark scatter frequently experienced in high cylinder pressure applications. Jesel belt-driven distributor systems are direct bolt-on accessories to their camshaft belt drives, eliminating timing inaccuracies due to camshaft deflection and cam walk. By driving the distributor drive directly off the camshaft pulley, ignition timing stays constant and will not deviate from the initial settings. Plus, Jesel Extreme distributor drives provide the ability to set the engine back further in the chassis without worrying about firewall or windshield interference.
