Unlike standard exhaust gasket material, Ultra-Seal gaskets incorporate a graphite-impregnated facing and a steel-expanded metal core that reinforces and increases their tensile strength. This allows the gaskets to conform to warped flanges, giving them better sealing capabilities without deteriorating or cracking under the excessive heat and pressure that's common in exhaust systems. They feature Fel-Pro Performance exhaust header gaskets made from high-temperature, high-density fiber material around a perforated steel core for durability and heat resistance. To provide a tight seal, we include Stage 8's Grade 8 locking header bolts. They use a patented system that consists of a grooved hex head bolt, a retainer, and a snap clip. The retainer fits over the bolt head and locks the bolt against the header tube, and the snap clip holds the retainer in place.
