Made from your choice of chromoly or mild steel, these strong one-piece hoops mount easily with minimal welding, reinforcing the cabin safety through increased rigidity. This type of modification is required on most racing circuits for improved driver protection. In order to install a complete roll cage, you'll also need the appropriate strut kit (sold separately)--or save time by simply ordering the complete roll bar hoop and strut assembly package. The partner package for the 8-point roll bar main hoop kits, these Competition Engineering 8-point roll bar strut kits provide the support pieces to complete your safety cage. They include: two rear struts, two front door bars, main hoop cross brace, two diagonal hoop supports, six weld joint gussets, and eight 6.000 in. square x 0.134 in. (10 gauge) thick floor plates. Combining these parts with a main hoop kit gives you an 8-point roll cage—a modification required in most racing circuits for providing increased cabin safety and side impact protection. Both the main hoop and the strut kit are available in your choice of mild steel or chromoly. Complete your design of a secure cockpit with a Competition Engineering 8-point roll bar strut kit.
