Because of their efficiency, underhood temperatures on trucks and motor homes can be reduced as much as 200 degrees F--helping to lengthen the service life of other engine components. These mufflers are designed and sized for larger gas and diesel engines typically used in towing vehicles and RVs. So, for more comfortable cruising, Flowmaster tuned them for reduced exterior exhaust sound and lower levels of interior resonance.
