Cometic Gasket offers oil pump cover O-rings for Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. O-rings can be particularly beneficial in Harley® engines to address specific issues such as higher cylinder leak-down, poor subseal O-ring seal, raised sump hole or sump plug, and looser lifter to lifter bore clearances. Cometic's oil pump cover O-rings create a tight seal between the oil pump cover and the engine case to prevent oil from leaking out, and ensuring proper oil pressure, as well as improved engine lubrication, especially in HD® engines with higher cylinder leak-down or other issues.
