While it's true there's only so many ways you can package a set of low and high beam LED-based optics into a small rectangular headlight, Morimoto's Sealed5 Bi-LED headlight conversions pull it off in the most functional and attractive setup possible. OUTPUT: In low beam mode, Nichia NCSW170C Series LEDs, paired with Morimoto's advanced Kuria Optic projector lens array, efficiently distributes 2400 lumens on the road in a properly LHD-stepped beam pattern. In high beam mode, the Sealed5 illuminates an extra set of optics, upping the overall output to 4300 mosquito-melting lumens there. DRL / SWITCHBACK: The quad-optic setup has three functions: 1) High-intensity white daytime running light. 2) Low-intensity white parking light, and 3) High-intensity amber turn signal. The switchback setup on the turn signal will automatically interrupt the white DRL, flash, and then return to white once the signal stops. The 3-wire DRL/Signal input makes setup easy. If you don't care for the DRL or turn signals, they do not have to be wired in. QUALITY: No expense was spared when designing the Sealed5. The heart of the headlight is powered with high-quality LEDs from Nichia-Japan and Philips-Lumileds. These aren't cheap emitters to begin with. Your classic car has already withstood the test of time and the UV-coated polycarbonate lens will take another couple decades worth of abuse without fading. You can feel the precision in the heavy-duty diecast housings that double as a heat-sink. A special PWM LED driver resides inside of the headlight to keep the LEDs running at their peak intensity, even during prolonged periods of use. 5X7 in. Hoosier Sports Car DOT Radial Tires
Hoosier Sports Car DOT radial tires are only for road racing and autocross use. They were developed for competition where responsiveness and high levels of grip in hot, dry conditions are desirable. "R" tires are specifically for road racing and produce fast, consistent lap times and extended wear. Hoosier "A" tires are principally for autocross but are also used for road racing on lightweight cars or when cool ambient temperatures prevent "R" compound tires from reaching proper operating temperatures. Features and benefits of Hoosier Sports Car DOT radial tires include: * The tread of Sports Car DOT radials are "slicks" with alternating outboard and inboard 5-dash circumferentially oriented grooves * With a tread depth of 4/32 in., tread shaving is not required, but it is best scuff them in before actual competition * Their internal construction is symmetric, with two lightweight steel belts reinforced by a spirally wrapped circumferential nylon cap ply under the tread but above two nylon cord casing plies * A rim recess is included on all sizes * Their internal construction and symmetric tread design means they can be mounted on either side of the car, then reversed for longer tire life * Measuring unmounted tires will not provide correct comparisons to mounted tires; they must be mounted on the correct wheels to determine their actual mounted dimensions * The section width, tread width, and shoulder profile of Sports Car DOT radials are not necessarily the same as earlier versions and may affect fitment; it is always best to check a mounted, inflated tire for possible interference with suspension and/or body components * Racing and autocross tires should never be driven in snow, on ice, or in near-freezing temperatures * Store competition tires inside, away from direct sunlight, or in temperatures near or below freezing Warning: DOT-labeled Hoosier Sports Car DOT radial tires meet Department of Transportation requirements for marking and performance only and are not intended for highway use. RRC has taken out all of the guess work and come up with these easy-to-install kits. All the tubing is pre-bent and notched for ease of installation. Rhodes Race Cars Lemons and Chumps roll cages are available in ERW mild steel, DOM, and chromoly. ERW mild steel is accepted by both sanctioning bodies, but DOM is very strongly recommended. Chromoly is generally NOT recommended for this type of racing. Check your sanctioning body's rules before you order! Note: Some minor trimming may be required during installation. All RRC cages are weld-in cages.
