A great piston starts with a great forging. Forged Pro piston forgings are stronger AND lighter. This makes more power AND takes stress off the crank, rods and block at higher rpm. It also saves money balancing a crank when heavy metal is not required. Forged Pro pistons are designed around ultra-modern Nitride Steel top ring packs and Summit GP Gas Ported variants. Less friction results in more power and less bore wear. Superior machining results in less blowby for less oil consumption and longer life is the result. Better rings are great horsepower per dollar! Most old production engines were designed to run on 87 octane in heavy vehicles.
